I’m so pleased that the International community is starting to act and support the women of Afghanistan. Brava to the women and girls! You are not forgotten, sending strength.
I was so upset when the western forces left Afghanistan, knowing what was going to happen to the afghan women. And so angry with the politicians and journalists who were saying 'the Taliban are different now' when they knew perfectly well that that wasn't true. They pretended to believe that. Then two and a half years of wringing my hands and saying what can we do, what can we do, as the world went silent and turned its back on Afghan women. and pretended they didn't exist. I didn't have a clue how to help but now some wonderful clever women have got this fightback movement going. So grateful to you. Solidarity with our Afghan sisters.❤
